ear the historic Aetna Springs Resort, Bryant found the perfect piece of land to plant 24 acres of vineyards, and this virgin soil proved to be ideal for grape growing. He chose varietals that would thrive in the well-drained, rocky soil, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah, and found Josh Clark, a Vineyard Manager with an in depth knowledge of the specific terroir of the vineyard.
Because of the hot days, limited drip irrigation is needed to keep the vines from being too stressed during the summer months. All water for the vineyard is obtained from the natural springs located just beneath the vineyards.
Above is a map of the vineyard with the acreage, varietals and root stocks associated with each block.
